To pollinate flowers and quite literally keep our world alive. It’s awe-inspiring to realize that only the females take on the monumental tasks of building nests and gathering pollen and nectar, while males exist solely to ensure the next generation.

These gentle marvels are remarkably non-aggressive, with stings so mild—or even absent—that they pose no threat at all. How incredible is it that such delicate beings play such a vital role in maintaining the beauty around us?

From every corner of humanity—single-parent families to bustling multi-generational homes—let’s join together in heartfelt gratitude for these tiny guardians. Let’s honor them by building welcoming bee hotels or safe havens, especially as their natural shelters like old trees and hollow stems vanish amidst new construction. The workshop is designed around the family. It allows the family to spend quality time together, exploring new skills and potentially using tools for the first time.

Refreshments and a hearty lunch are included in the workshop fee.

The first use of man-made birdhouses in history was around the 15th - 16th century. In Eastern Europe, birdhouses were built for sparrows and swallows during the pre-Ottoman period. They were made of bricks, tiles, wood, stone and mortar.there is a long established.

Unfortunately, in the bird world, there aren't always enough holes to go around. That's where birdhouses (also known as nest boxes) come in. They provide valuable homes for many birds and wonderful viewing opportunities for birdwatchers.

The workshop is an ideal family outing. We encourage Family participation and is suitable for families with children from 7 years old.

Working with clay connects us to the ancient history of the Earth and highlights its lasting importance in human culture and artistry.

Learning to sculpt or model from clay can enhance hand-eye coordination. It develops better observational skills, spatial awareness, symmetry, and measurement. By creating something new, we uncover our true selves and cultivate the art of balancing controlled and spontaneous movements.
