Workshop Leader - WOOD CARVING HANDS ON!!

Your workshop will be led by

Yasmin Gur, a wood sculptor with 20+ years of experience, building sculpture, teaching, and directing art programs focusing on sculpture and design. Using reclaimed wood as a basis, she appropriates the history of salvaged materials to create structures that evoke the living processes of an organism. Her work, biomorphic yet geometric abstract forms in wood, metal, and other materials, embodies sensuality, ambiguity, and ambivalence. Yasmin earned her MFA from Brooklyn College, NY and received her BFA from Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem. Her teaching experience included, Binghamton University, Brooklyn College, NY ,City College, NY

This workshop explores the world of wood carving, where we learn about the exciting process of wood relief sculpture using hand and power tools.

This workshop is designed to challenge both beginnersand experienced craftsmen/women.

The workshop is 5 hours.

2.5 hours, lunch break and than another 2.5 hours.

What is the cost:

The cost for the session is €50.This includes lunch and refreshments at Chloes Kitchen. Overnight accommodation can be arranged
